In April 1844,
Thomas William (2), his parents and brother George (1), sailed from Cork
for Australia on the ship "St. Vincent", and arrived in
Australia on 31st of July 1844.
Thomas William
spent most of his life at Farm Creek (Tannymorel) where he was one of the
original land holders in the area once the area was broken up. He had some
time in Warwick and Stanthorpe. His family were reared in the Farm Creek
area and he was living in Tannymorel at the time of his death. A memorial
to Thomas William are the Pepperina Trees he planted at the Church of
England, Tannymorel. At that time his home was just across the road from
the Church.
