IN
THE NAME OF GOD AMEN
I, Anne Bradford of
Blatchington in the County of Sussex, Spinster, being sick and
weak of body, but of sound and clear mind and memory do make and
do ordain this, my last will and testament this sixth day of
February in the year of our Lord Christ 1718 in manner and form
following vizt. Imprimis I
will but my debts and funeral charges be paid and discharged. Item
I give and bequeath to Peter Bradford and Nicholas Bradford, sons
of Nicholas Bradford of Eastbourne in the said County of Sussex,
weaver, to each of them the sum of fifty shillings of good and
lawful money of England to be paid to them six months after my
decease by my executor Item I give and bequeath to Nicholas
Bradford of Hellingly in the said County of Sussex, Weaver, the
sum of fifty shillings to be paid to him six months after my
decease by my executor. Item I give and bequeath to
Elizabeth , wife of William Ball of Eastbourne in the said County
of Sussex -- layer the sum of fifty shillings to be paid her six
months after my decease and also one collar manty, and one --
petticoat and also four suits of head linen Item I give and
bequeath unto Elizabeth, wife of Edward Pollington of --- in the
said County of Sussex , Yeoman ,the sum of fifty shillings and
also one damask manty , and petticoat and also six suits of head
linen the money to be paid six months after my decease by my executor Item I
give to Susannah Cox of Blatchington in the said county of Sussex,
spinster, the sum of fifty shillings to
be paid her six months after my decease by my executor and also
one half crape manty and petticoat and three suits of head linen
Item I give and bequeath to Mary Goodman, relict of Thomas
Goodman late, of Blatchington,
in the said County of Sussex one manty and petticoat of worsted
stuff and one linen woolsey manty and petticoat and also two suits
of head linen Item I give and bequeath to Anne, wife of Nicholas
Bradford of Eastbourne aforesaid weaver, one half silk manty lined
with black ? and one serge petticoat, and one -- petticoat Item I
give and bequeath to Thomas and John Goodman sons of Mary Goodman,
of Blatchington aforesaid one pair of gloves to each of
them All the rest and residue of my personal estate goods and
chattels whatsoever I do give and bequeath unto my loving brother
Nicholas Bradford of Eastbourne in the County of Sussex, weaver and
appoint him full and sole executor of this my last will and
testament.
